Call for Submissions

The EdTech Society is delighted to announce the launch of Prayas, a triannual educational periodical dedicated to sharing meaningful practices, innovations, and experiences from teachers or educators in the field. Prayas aims to create a collaborative platform where educators and practitioners can learn from one another and contribute to strengthening educational practice across diverse contexts in India.

What Can You Submit?

We invite submissions that describe a teaching technique, pedagogical innovation, classroom intervention, educational experiment, or reflective teaching practice that has been useful in your context.

Teaching Strategies
A teaching strategy that improved student engagement or understanding. E.g., storytelling.
Modified Tools
A modification of an existing teaching tool or classroom resource. E.g., Google Slides.
Innovative Use
A different way of using familiar materials or technologies. E.g., Ball-Stick models.
Interactive Exercises
Cases of a role play, activity, simulation, or collaborative exercise. E.g., Dancing.
Assessment Approaches
An innovative assessment or feedback approach. E.g., Drawings.
Classroom Solutions
A low-cost or context-sensitive classroom solution. E.g., Using pens as models.
Interventions
An intervention designed for diverse learners. E.g., for neurodivergent learners
Technology enabled
A technology-enabled or AI-supported teaching practice.
Reflection
A reflective account of “what worked” and why
