5–7 December 2025 · IIT Madras, Chennai. Organised by EdTech Society and hosted by IIT Madras.
T4E 2025 at IIT Madras
The International Conference on Technology 4 Education (T4E 2025) was organised by EdTech Society, India, and hosted by IIT Madras in Chennai from 5 to 7 December 2025.
Earlier T4E conferences were held in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kharagpur, Kollam, Warangal, Mumbai, Chennai, Goa, Mumbai and Gandhinagar, between 2009 and 2024.
Article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights says education shall be directed to the full development of the human personality and to strengthening respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms, and shall promote understanding, tolerance and friendship among all groups. Despite the growth of technology in education, the opportunities open to most citizens have not changed.
So T4E asked how we can bridge educational differences between groups and level the playing field with technologies big and small, and how technology can help develop well-rounded, democratically aware citizens who observe, question and critique, beyond traditional curricular goals.
T4E 2025 brought together researchers, teachers, students, developers, entrepreneurs and practitioners from universities, colleges, schools, industry, government and NGOs to share their work in this interdisciplinary field.
Technology for, of, in and across education
Since 2023, T4E has looked at technology and education from four perspectives.
