About the Society

EdTech Society is a professional association started in India by individuals who are committed to improving instruction and learning through the use of educational technologies. Our members are researchers, developers, and practitioners in the field of educational technology — united by a shared belief that evidence-based practice can transform teaching and learning across India and the region. Closely tied to the Interdisciplinary Programme in Educational Technology (IDP-ET) at IIT Bombay, the Society has grown from a small founding community into a network of 380 members spanning more than sixty institutions across India and internationally. We host programmes year-round, publish the Society Digest, and convene the annual Technology for Education (T4E) international conference.
