About this masterclass
Dr. Martin is an advocate for technology enhanced learning and cybersecurity education. Some of the projects she has led focus on digital citizenship for middle school students, digital safety immersion for elementary students, educational technology security and privacy for K-12 school personnel, gencyber professional development for inservice teachers, evaluation of monitoring applications, and integrating cybersecurity in Math and Science. Dr. Martin will provide implications for research and practice from each of these projects. In addition she will also discuss the impact of AI in enhancing cybersecurity within educational environments.

Dr. Florence Martin is a Professor of Learning, Design and Technology at North Carolina State University and the Doctoral Program Coordinator of the Learning Design and Technology concentration of the Teacher Education and Learning Sciences Ph.D. Program. Dr. Martin engages in research to create transformative learning experiences through effective design and integration of online and digital teaching and learning innovations.
