About this event
This workshop is designed to empower school teachers and other educators to confidently integrate Generative AI (GenAI) into their teaching practice, including the use of prompt engineering techniques. It provides practical, hands-on skills while addressing the responsible and ethical use of AI in educational settings. By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to explain the fundamentals of AI and Generative AI (GenAI), identify the components of an effective prompt, demonstrate effective use of Prompt Engineering frameworks, create lesson plans and Teaching-Learning Materials (TLMs) with AI assistance, design assessments and feedback tools using GenAI, select and evaluate AI tools for specific teaching tasks, and apply ethical principles when integrating AI into teaching.

Prerequisites
A graduate degree in any discipline. Prior teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory. Active teachers or faculty members are preferred; however, no minimum experience is required. Basic computer literacy and internet access are required. No prior knowledge of AI or coding is needed.
