About this event
This workshop is the third in the Instructional Design (ID) workshop series. In this workshop, you will learn about standards of achievement (relative and absolute) and assessment of knowledge (cognitive), procedures (psychomotor), and attitudes in learning. You will learn different types of objective, constructed response tests and skill/behavior assessments in various educational contexts, including K-12, higher education, teacher training, and corporate training. Topics Covered include types of assessments, relative and absolute standards, objective tests, and constructed response tests. The workshop consists of up to two hours of pre-recorded lectures and a three-hour live online session. Participants will engage in both individual and group activities.
What you'll learn
Describe formative, summative, and confirmative assessments.
Explain the differences between relative (norm-referenced) and absolute (criterion-referenced) standards.
Apply objective tests and constructed response tests in a given context.
Describe different types of skill/behavior assessments (direct testing, anecdotal records, and portfolio assessments).

Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
