As AI evolves at an unprecedented pace, the choices we make—as educators, creators, and users—carry greater weight than ever before. The future of AI isn’t just about what it can do, but what we choose to do with it.
In this talk, we will take a step back and look at how technologies of the past have shaped society—sometimes for the better, sometimes for worse. We will also explore how we can learn from those examples and steer AI towards the collective good of humanity.

Brief Bio / About the instructor:
Mandar is the co-founder and CEO of THE labs (Technology, Humanities, Entrepreneurship labs), a non-profit that runs India’s first and most comprehensive AI program for underserved children. He has more than 14 years of diverse experience in technology, education, and films. In addition to THE labs, he has been running a for-profit edtech company, Gatuvit, for the last ten years and a film-making company for the last five years.
At present, Mandar is also the chief operating officer at Education for Equality Foundation and partner at The Circle India.
