Brief Description
In this Masterclass, Dr. Prajish will describe effective strategies instructors can use to increase student’s engagement and conceptual understanding in CS courses. He will also describe relevant assessment strategies which teachers can use to evaluate student programming skills in light of Generative AI tools like ChatGPT.

Brief Bio of Instructor
Dr. Prajish Prasad is an Assistant Professor in the School of Computing and Data Sciences at FLAME University, Pune. He completed his PhD from the Interdisciplinary Programme in Educational Technology at IIT Bombay in July 2021. His Bachelors and Master degrees are in Computer Science. Prior to joining his PhD, he worked as a software developer in an EdTech startup, and as an engineering instructor, teaching courses for computer science undergraduates.
