Brief Description / About the In focus interview:
The goal of this In-Focus interview is to gain a deeper understanding of the philosophy, process, design, and implementation of the Human-Computer Design course. Through this discussion, we aim to explore the guiding principles and pedagogical approaches that shape the course structure and learning outcomes. We also welcome the participation of students to showcase and discuss the products and solutions that have emerged as a result of their engagement in the course. This interview seeks to provide valuable insights into how design and technology are integrated to address the theme of EdTech for All.

Brief Bio / About the instructor:
Dr. Saroja Ganapathy is an educator with over two decades of experience across a variety of higher education institutes. A graduate in language and literature who thinks through music yet remains committed to engaging with the tangible and actionable, Dr. Saroja forays into design as a writer and continues to thrive in the field due to the eclectic nature of the discipline, which allows her to learn, collaborate, and embrace diversity. She actively contributes to research projects, course design, and teaching assignments across diverse areas such as communication and writing, postcolonial literatures, Indian aesthetics and performing arts, teacher education, and design education.
Dr. Saroja holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.
