Brief Description
Human learning is a complex process and, in this Masterclass, Dr. Anveshna will describe through a few concrete examples how understanding the learning process can enable educators and learners to efficiently and effectively integrate technological resources in pedagogy. Further, we will also touch upon the issue of mind-wandering and how technology can be used to bring back the much-needed attention to the task at hand.

Brief Bio of the speaker
Anveshna Srivastava is a Visiting Faculty in the Department of Cognitive Science, IIT Kanpur. Her interdisciplinary work focuses on studying and improving learners’ thinking-reasoning processes, designing cognitively informed efficient pedagogical resources, and simplifying research outcomes to be adapted into the complex, messy, and real contextual settings of the world.
